Elemis Skin Nourishing Shower Cream Review

Elemis Skin Nourishing Shower Cream

Elemis Skin Nourishing Shower Cream

The Skin Nourishing Shower Cream from Elemis is part of their Sp@Home range and promises to be free from parabens, mineral oils, silicones and other skin nasties. The shower cream is the sister product to the iconic Skin Nourishing Milk Bath but can this shower cream deliver the same results?

Using Camellia, Macadamia and Jojoba oils the Skin Nourishing Shower Cream is formulated with similar skin moisturising oils as the milk bath and Elemis recommend it for dry skin as it nourishes and balances.

My skin is not excessively dry but I can be guilty of forgetting to moisturise as regularly as I should and as I’m often swimming 3 times a week I don’t like to use a shower product that dries my skin out any more than it all ready is.

When you first pour the Skin Nourishing Shower Cream out of the bottle it does look and feel almost like a body lotion so I was a bit worried as to whether it would be able to foam up enough, however when you lather it with water the cream creates a rich foam that can wash the whole body without leaving it feeling tight or dry. If I know I’m not going to be using a body lotion I tend to use this product as it feels like washing the skin in a body lotion.

It has the same light and milky fragrance as the milk bath so it leaves the skin feeling fresh and lightly scented. This is the perfect choice for people with dry or delicate skin.
